A Monero wallet that runs in your browser

Monero has excellent wallets and almost all of them are desktop applications. getmonero.org's own list of recommended wallets contains no browser wallets at all — the combination of RingCT proving and view-key scanning has generally been considered too heavy for a tab.

WRAITH does it anyway. Monero transactions are constructed and proved locally in WebAssembly on your device; spend keys never leave the browser.

• Spend keys stay local. The RingCT prover runs in a worker on your machine. Signing happens on your device, not on a server.
• Scanning uses a light-wallet server. Finding your incoming outputs requires scanning the chain, and a browser cannot hold the Monero blockchain. WRAITH uses a light-wallet server for scanning, which means that server sees your view key. It cannot spend, and it cannot sign.
• Your own node is supported. If you would rather not share a view key with anyone, point WRAITH at your own light-wallet server in Settings.
• Subaddresses and standard seeds. Nothing proprietary — your Monero account is recoverable in any standard Monero wallet.

No multi-day initial sync, no desktop install, no dedicated machine. Open a tab on a laptop, a phone or a borrowed computer and your Monero is there, with the spend key encrypted on that device and the RingCT prover running locally.

It is the same standard Monero account throughout, so nothing about it is proprietary and nothing locks you in.

The same seed phrase also holds Bitcoin, Ethereum and 27 EVM chains, Solana, Sui, Aptos, Cosmos, XRP, Stellar, TON, Tron, shielded Zcash and Midnight — so XMR is not a wallet you keep in a separate application.
