A Monad wallet for after Phantom leaves
Phantom removes Monad support on 26 August 2026.
Phantom has announced it is ending Monad support on 26 August 2026. After that date, Monad assets held in Phantom can no longer be viewed, sent or swapped from inside the app. Phantom waived its fees to help users move out.
WRAITH is headquartered on Monad. If you need somewhere to land, importing your existing seed phrase takes about thirty seconds and your addresses come with you.
Moving from Phantom to WRAITH
Both wallets derive addresses from a standard BIP39 seed phrase, so this is an import rather than a transfer — there is no on-chain transaction to pay for and nothing to bridge.
- Export your seed phrase from Phantom (Settings → Security & Privacy → Show Secret Recovery Phrase).
- Open WRAITH and choose Import an existing wallet.
- Enter the seed. Your Solana and EVM addresses — including Monad — resolve to the same public keys they had in Phantom.
- Set a local password. The seed is encrypted on your device; nothing is uploaded.
What WRAITH does on Monad
- Native MON balances, sends and ERC-20 support with a Monad block explorer link on every transaction.
- MON liquid staking — no mainstream wallet currently ships this.
- Swaps routed through aggregators at 40 bps, against Phantom's 85.
- The same seed also covers Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Monero, shielded Zcash and ~40 more networks, so Monad is not a wallet you keep separately.
Why a Monad-native wallet matters now
MetaMask added Monad in late 2025 but offers swap and bridge only, with no liquid staking. Backpack announced zero-fee MON staking without shipping evidence of it. Phantom is leaving outright. That leaves Monad users choosing between wallets that treat the chain as a checkbox and one that treats it as home.
