The thing people get wrong on Aptos
An Aptos account must be initialised on-chain before it can hold assets, so a brand-new address does not exist to the explorer until its first inbound transfer creates it.
Receiving APT
- Open WRAITH and select Aptos from the network list.
- Tap Receive for the QR code and the full address — 0x… 32-byte account address.
- Check the first and last four characters against the source before sending a large amount. Address substitution by clipboard malware is real, and this is the check that catches it.
- Send a small test amount first when using a new address for the first time.

Is WRAITH a custodial Aptos wallet?
No. Your seed phrase is generated and encrypted on your device and never uploaded. WRAITH cannot move your APT, and cannot recover it if you lose the seed.
